If you have visited Curls N Pearls in the past few months, you probably have noticed that dry shampoo is one of my favorite hair products (see here and here). After all, who doesn’t love squeezing in a day or two between blowouts?
Since writing this post where I reviewed some of my favorite (and not so favorite) dry shampoo options, I have test driven a new and very affordable ($3-$4 a pop) dry shampoo – Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo.
So, will Suave’s new dry shampoo buy you time between washes?
In short, yes.
As you can see my hair had no shortage of funk (eww) since I waited two days before giving the Suave dry shampoo a try.
The Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo bottle promises to “refresh hair, extend your blowout, revive volume.” Here is a breakdown of my likes and dislikes after test driving this dry shampoo.
Overall, I’d say that Suave’s new dry shampoo is worth trying out, and a great value at its budget-friendly price point. If you have flat or thin hair, or if volume (e.g. big hair) is very important to you, you may consider a more expensive option like Big Sexy Hair’s Volumizing Dry Shampoo (see my review here).

I have very greasy straight hair. I washed it yesterday (with the Suave Keratin Infusion Smoothing shampoo and conditioner — love!!) and I used the Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo this morning. It is 9 pm and as I run my hands through my hair it feels good. It has a bit more volume than if I had washed this morning, and my fingers don’t feel disgusting. I have also tried the Tresemme dry shampoo and though I think it smells better, I prefer Suave’s version. It’s easy to use and the price is very friendly.
