I have to admit that I was pretty hesitant to try GelColor by OPI’s (almost too, too) white-ish shade, Funny Bunny. When it comes to nails, there is a fine line between stark Whiteout-white lacquer, and the slightly more acceptable and stylish off-white during Spring/Summer. Initially, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with OPI Funny Bunny, but I must say I’m quite pleased with the soft white/delicate pink color of my manicure. In fact, I think it may become a new favorite for me . . . thoughts?
*Please note: GelColor by OPI is a professional only product, to be applied and removed at a salon by a trained professional; I am a licensed cosmetologist.

I’m a fan. Hopefully my nail salon will have it next week when I go back in for a mani.
Christina says:
Thanks, Aimee! I hope they have it!
CrystalCandy says:
Oh, it’s more opaque than I though it would be! How many coats did you apply?
Christina says:
Hi there! Just two coats. Yes, it’s pretty opaque. It would probably look better if I had a tan.
CrystalCandy says:
Thank you!
Did you know you can add the top coat over regular nail polish? I tried it a couple of weeks ago over my magnetic polish, which usually chip in 12 hours, and with top coat it didn’t start to chip until the 3rd day!
Christina says:
No problem! I haven’t experimented with layering it over non-GelColor polish. Sounds like it worked out pretty well for you. My favorite non-gel top coat is Seche Vite. Very shiny and long-lasting.
CrystalCandy says:
I tried the magnetic polish with Poshe top coat (which I like better than Seche Vite) and it didnd’t last more than 12 hours. lol very crappy formula! I guess my manicures would last easily one week with the gel top coat, instead of 3-4 days.
