I’ve mentioned before that I’ve tried a myriad of skincare lines from the über high-end (Sisley) to bargain beauty (Oil of Olay). After much experimentation, I’ve come to the conclusion that Bioelements is my preferred brand. With prices ranging from $20-$70, Bioelements products are widely used by estheticians in spas, which speaks to its quality. (Check out this past Curls N Pearls post for some of my favorites.)
Since I recently picked up a super magnification mirror to aid tweezing my brows, I’ve realized that I have a small army of blackheads between my eyes and on my chin. Gross, right? As embarrassing as that is for me to admit on my blog, it’s an important detail to note for this review.
Here is what Bioelements has to say of Kerafole Purge($48):
- FREE 2-week trial size Stress Solution Stress Solution worth $15!
- Intensive deep purging at-home face mask treatment
- Uncovers revitalized, clear, glowing skin
- Plus a post-mask soothing protective serum
Sounds pretty fantastic, right?
The directions are simple enough: Apply over entire face, avoiding eye area, and leave on for ten minutes. You can use the mask once a week for maintenance, or you can use it once daily for a total of seven days for a “complete purge of impurities.” Troubled by my recent discovery, I opted for the latter in hopes to destroy the little buggers.
By day two, my skin’s appearance had noticeably improved. Very few blackheads remained, and after checking out my skin in my super-magnified mirror it was hard to discern if the remaining blackheads are actually blackheads, or merely pores. Around day four I noticed that two breakouts that had begun to emerge before starting the 7-day purge had almost disappeared.
I even convinced my husband to give it a try. The next morning he admitted he was impressed with the results and even commented that in general his skin seemed to feel better. After the full week of use, I’m pleased to share that I don’t have a single complaint about the Kerafole Purge, I love it! Kerafole Purge has landed a spot on my weekend skincare regimen, earning it a Curls N Pearls rating of 5/5.
