13 Products for Fall – Glam Beauty Board

I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Glam Beauty Board, a group of Glam bloggers picked to receive the latest and greatest in beauty each season to share with our readers. (Oh, how I love being a beauty blogger!) This is my first time participating and I was giddy when the Glam goodies showed up at my door.

I will go more in-depth on some of my favorites in upcoming blog posts, but here is a rundown of thirteen must-try beauty products to keep an eye out for this fall!

First on the list: Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Conditioner. At the bargain price point of $5 a piece, this shampoo and conditioner set is a great value, especially for women looking for a product to help tame frizz without leaving a greasy residue or weighing hair down.

Up next, we have Ojon Super Sleek Restorative Blowout Perfector ($25). This lightweight blowout crème has a divine scent and works very well to achieve smooth and sleek locks. Even better, just a bit truly goes a long way! My hair is long enough to brush just below my shoulders, and just a dime-size amount of the Ojon blowout crème is perfect! I’ve used it prior to blowing my hair out straight, as well as before curling my hair – and the result is soft, shiny and healthy looking hair.

Moving from hair to skincare, Glam included La Face PUR Purifying Facial Wash ($48). While this facial wash is an indulgence at $48, it is important to note that the bottle is huge (7.6 fl oz) and you only need a very small amount to work up a lather, so I will be enjoying this indulgence for a long time. This product is a facial wash and toner in one product, and it is great for removing makeup (even waterproof products), while still gentle enough to use twice daily. My combination skin looks and feels great (and blemish free!) thanks to this facial cleanser, and you will not experience that overly dry or tight feeling that you experience with some facial cleansers.

One of my favorite beauty rituals to feel refreshed and beautiful is exfoliation. Glam included Juara Invigorating Coffee Scrub ($37). Made with fresh Indonesian coffee beans, this exfoliating scrub smells ahh-maaazing, while gently stimulating circulation and buffing away dull skin. Here’s what I really love about this scrub: it cleanses and exfoliates in one step, so no need to lather up a second time. Also, the Juara Invigorating Coffee Scrub leaves no oily residue on your skin or in the shower, which is a huge perk when it comes to exfoliating scrubs! For women seeking natural beauty products, it’s important to note that this scrub is sulfate and paraben-free.

Dry skin is something most women battle during the cooler months, so if you’re at all like me, you’ll love Dr. LeWinn by Kinerase Wrinkle Repair Day & Night Cream ($25). The cream feels rich and luxurious to apply, but absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple with no oily residue. It blends perfectly under liquid and powder foundation and primer. Even better, this cream truly goes above and beyond with an SPF of 30.

Glam didn’t neglect our bodies in the least when it comes to the battle against dry skin and sun damage – enter Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizing Body Lotion with SPF 15 ($11).  This lightweight lotion is fragrance-free and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth with 24-hour moisture and protection.

I absolutely love trying different foundations, so I was so happy to see that Almay Wake Up Liquid Makeup ($12) made it’s way to me! I prefer light to medium coverage when it comes to foundation, and Almay’s Wake Up Liquid Makeup is a real treat at a great price for my combination (sometimes oily) skin. And just because it’s getting cooler doesn’t mean the sun’s damaging rays aren’t still omnipresent, so this foundation offers protection with SPF 20. One small pump of this foundation provides smooth and flawless coverage.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d start to wonder if the team at Glam read my mind, because I’ve been in need of a new blush. Packaged in an adorable (and convenient) little box, Benefit Bella Bamba Blush ($28) includes a very nice brush for application, which nestles perfectly in the box (a great bonus for travel!). The flattering pink shade and slight shimmer are very versatile, and works great to accentuate your cheek bones.

One of my absolute favorite fall beauty products is Lorac TANtalizer Highlighter & Matte Bronzer Duo ($32). Remember when I blogged about my desire for a contouring and highlighting duo? Well, Lorac has delivered! One side of the compact holds a natural looking matter bronzer, perfect for creating shadows and accentuating the contours of your face. One the other side is a beautiful light shade (with a touch of shimmer) for highlighting, giving your skin a gorgeous and revitalized glow. I blend the darker shade along my temples and in the hollows of my cheeks, and a quick swipe on either side of my nose. The highlighter compliments the bronzer with a touch on my forehead, under the eyes and along the bridge of my nose. The compact is a generous size too, making this duo a great value!

Also from Almay, the Glam team included some great eye makeup. The Almay Wakeup Eye Shadow/Primer ($8) and Almay Wake Up Eyeliner/Highlighter are both a real treat, especially for days when you feel like your eyes look tired and need a little pop. The eyeshadow kit includes a primer to create the perfect canvas and three complementing shades for a gorgeous and long-lasting eye.

Top off the look with the Alway Wake Up Eyeliner/Highlighter, a two-in-one dual ended eyeliner + highlighter.

For the perfect pout this fall, you have to try the MARK Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon ($11). Super easy to apply, the creamy pencil provides bright and highly pigmented, long-lasting coverage. I’m not the best when it comes to remembering to reapply lipstick, so I really love these pencils.

I always keep a small cosmetics bag in my purse for convenience and to protect the inside of my purse from an accidental spill, and the Modella Makeup Bag ($3) is a lovely addition for my favorite fall purse! It’s the perfect size to carry my powder, lipstick, and eyeliner – and not mention the pattern is so adorable.

Rounding out the latest and greatest fall beauty products coming my way is a super sexy nail polish – Orly Nail Lacquer in Smolder ($5). This vampy varnish is gorgeous, and will be the perfect shade to sport at holiday parties and events. Meow!

Happy Fall, beauties!
